Replacing missing teeth with a dental implant requires some sturdy posts, because we want them to last a long time. Typically, the posts are made from steel or titanium. We give every patient a thorough assessment before commencing any work to make sure they have healthy gums and enough bone to support implanted posts.
The Plan
We work closely with a Periodontist or an Oral Surgeon to determine the placement of dental implant(s) as well as the most appropriate procedures. Depending on individual needs, one or two surgeries are required, with an additional one or two month’s waiting for the manufacture and fitting of the artificial teeth. We make sure your teeth and gums are healthy during this process.
